About Engineering Taranaki Consortium

Engineering Taranaki Consortium (ETC) is comprised of twelve world-class engineering, design, fabrication & support companies from the Taranaki region. What is Taranaki?

Members of Engineering Taranaki Consortium have developed world-class innovative expertise for the oil and gas, petrochemical, minerals & mining, food & beverage, water & wastewater and dairy industries. ETC also offers a workforce in excess of 1000 qualified and skilled trades-people, in addition to more than 200 professional engineers.

ETC members comply with internationally recognized Quality Assurance management systems.

What We Offer

	Fabrication and construction capabilities include high specification heavy steel fabrication including: large pressure vessels, heat exchangers, high pressure piping, structural steel as well as delivering pre-fabricated and pre-commissioned module construction. ETC is supported by Steel & Tube Distribution, New Zealand’s largest distributor of steel and allied products, who are an active member of ETC.

Engineering Taranaki Consortium members are located a short distance from a modern world-class deep-water port facility, Westgate Port Taranaki. Loads of up to 800 tonnes have been transported to the port via a heavy haul route. This route has no vertical obstructions and can take a maximum width of 17m. Work has been successfully barged and shipped all over Australasia, Asia and the Pacific.
